Rewards and Benefits Lead, Egypt
Introduction to Role:

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at AstraZeneca. As a Rewards & Benefits Lead. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in planning, developing, and implementing policies that align with our company's goals and values. This position is crucial for attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent within the Egypt Market Cluster, ensuring our reward systems are equitable and aligned with industry standards.
Accountabilities:
Your responsibilities will include:
Rewards & Benefits Scope:
Build, sustain and develop a strong Rewards and Benefits system while ensuring cost efficiency and ROI
Conduct on spot and scheduled total rewards reviews according to market needs
Lead annual salary and bonus review processes (RPD)
Work closely with Finance during mid-term planning to align rewards strategies with budgeting and support cross-functional initiatives
Support to position AZ as a Great Place to Work through Total Rewards and Benefits management and drive continuous improvement
Lead and develop Rewards and Benefits Team
Lead and ensure Rewards and Benefits data retention system
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior management on compensation-related matters
Act as a focal point for annual promotions and take the accurate approvals
Serve as the main contact for consolidating HR Dashboard data and maintaining its accuracy
Communication & Employee Engagement:
Develop communication strategies to effectively explain compensation and benefits programs to employees
Engage with employees to understand their needs and improve satisfaction with reward offerings
Budget Management:
Prepare and lead budgeting exercises as an owner of this process across Egypt MC and liaise with HRBP finalizing all Finance annual exercises
Act as a focal point of collecting Actual vs budgeted FTE’s and make sure quality monthly reporting with finance, liaising with HRBPs as needed
Compliance and Governance:
Ensure all compensation and benefits practices align with local regulations
Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
Essential Skills/Experience:
A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
Min. 7 years of experience in Rewards & Benefits area
Analytical attitude and strong problem-solving skills
People Leadership Skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills to work with various departments
